APC is divided and dying - Femi Fani-Kayode

- Femi Fani-Kayode has appealed to former Vice President Atiku to return to PDP

- Fani-Kayode said APC is divided and the party will soon disintegrate

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has appealed to Nigeria's former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, to return to his former party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fani-Kayode said the opposition party where Abubakar belonged to, All Progressives Congress (APC), is dying and the party is in disunity.

He urged the former vice president under the Olusegun Obasanjo's administration to return to PDP.

Fani-Kayode, in a tweet, described Abubakar as a man of courage.

He tweeted: "The APC Nigeria is divided and is dying. I call on Atiku, a man of courage,to return back to PDP. We love u and that is your home."

Recall that Atiku left PDP to join APC on February 2, 2014, after he served as a two term vice president under the platform of PDP.

Fani-Kayode's plea for Abubakar's return to the party is coming few weeks after he described the exit of another party member, Doyin Okupe as a big loss to PDP.

Meanwhile, Atiku Abubakar, has described his party, APC, as undemocratic in the way its leaders carry out their activities.

Legit.ng learnt that Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, lamented the alleged refusal of the party to organise statutory meetings for the organs of the party.

The former vice president, who spoke at the second Inter Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC) annual conference 2017 on internal democracy, complained about the alleged lack of internal democracy in the APC and other parties.
