Yemi Osinbajo commissions road projects during Port Harcourt visit

- Yemi Osinbajo was received upon landing at the Port Harcourt airport by Governor Nyesom Wike and his wife Suzette

- During the visit, the acting president commissioned the Chokocho-Igbo-Etche-Rumupkurushi Interchange and Chokocho Umuechem -Ozuzu Road

- The news was made public in a statement which was signed by the governor's aide and posted on Facebook

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was on Thursday, July 27, received at the Port Harcourt International Airport by the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike.

The development was disclosed on the governor’s Facebook page, in a statement signed by Simeon Nwakaudu, the special assistant to the Rivers state governor on electronic media.

The statement read: “Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Thursday received Acting President Yemi Osinbajo at the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The Acting President is in Rivers State to commission State Government Projects and a Fertiliser Plant in Eleme.

The Acting President alongside Rivers State Governor inspected a guard of honour mounted by the military.”

During the visit, the acting president commissioned the Chokocho-Igbo-Etche-Rumupkurushi Interchange and Chokocho Umuechem -Ozuzu Road.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday, February 13, 2017 visited Rivers state for the second time in one week.

While there, Osinbajo flagged-off the reconstruction of the doctors’ quarters of the Braithwaite Specialist Memorial Hospital (BSMH), Port Harcourt, the capital of the state.
