I want the 106 released Chibok Girls to be reunited with their families - Malala Yousafzai

- Malala Yousafzai met with Chibok schoolgirls who were released from Boko Haram captivity during her recent Girl Power trip

- She also met up with Acting President Osinbajo, civic group leaders, and other young girls from various Nigerian tribes

- Ms. Yousafzai was giving a report on the recent publicized trip to Nechirvan Barzani, the prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government

Renowned activist and Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai, who recently visited Aso Rock, has revealed her desires for the released Chibok Girls she met during her trip.

In a series of tweets, Ms. Yousafzai gave a status report on the recent visit to Nigeria, to the prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani.

The advocate for girl’s education disclosed that she met 106 released Chibok girls, and shared her hopes that they be reunited soon with their parents.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that acting president Yemi Osinbajo revealed what he actually discussed with the Pakistani rights activist, Malala Yousafzai, who visited and held a meeting with him in Aso Rock late Monday, July 17.

Speaking hours after the meeting, Osinbajo, who was said to have discussed issues relating to the Nigerian education with Malala, added that it was time to disabuse the impression that the girl-child is inferior.
