Rivers state will be capital of Biafra - Nnamdi Kanu

- The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has reportedly declared that Rivers state is the capital of Biafra

- Kanu said what many people are saying that Rivers state is not part of Biafra is misleading

- A traditional ruler in the state said any one saying Rivers state is not part of Biafra will be treated like Judas in the Bible

Both youths and adults trooped out in Port Harcourt on Friday, July 21 to receive the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu where he reportedly said the capital of the proposed Biafra republic will be in the state

This was made known through one of the traditional rulers who addressed the crowd as Kanu visited Obigbo area of the state made, Nairaland ports.

The traditional rulers quoted Kanu: “It’s misleading what people are saying that Rivers state is not part of Biafra, and that Igbos wants to Include Rivers people to Biafra because of their Oil.''

He said: “Mazi Kanu has assured us that (Rivers State) our oil will belong to us, anybody saying that Rivers state is not part of Biafra is a Judas, and that person will be treated like Judas in the Bible.''

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that a large number of pro-Biafra supporters converged in Igweocha in Port Harcourt to receive the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu on Friday, July 21.

Addressing the crowd which was reported to be over 3 million, Nnamdi Kanu said there is nothing like one Nigeria, insisting that Biafra is the reward of the people.
