Addressing the crowd which was reported to be over 3 million, Nnamdi Kanu said there is nothing like one Nigeria, insisting that Biafra is the reward of the people.

The IPOB leader described Biafra as the destiny of the people.

He urged his supporters to demand for Biafra now for the benefit of their children and their grand children who have been marginalized by those in Abuja.

Kanu also led the crowd in prayers for the divine help to actualize Biafra.

Meanwhile, Kanu’s visit to Port Harcourt is sequel to his recent visit to Nri, regarded as the ancestral home of Ndigbo in Anambra state where he said the alleged plot to Islamise Nigeria was real.

The IPOB leader had told a crowd of Biafra activists that he would resist the plan to Islamise any part of Igbo land, adding that such an “evil agenda” will not succeed in his life time.

Kanu reiterated his opposition to the November 18 Anambra governorship poll, insisting that no election will be allowed in Biafra land beginning with the Anambra election.

He urged the crowd to remain indoors and be non-violent on the day of the coming election.
