A former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the recent move by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to set up a committee on the restructuring of Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode in a tweet on Thursday, July 20, morning said the attempt by the ruling party to initiate a restructuring process for Nigerians is like the devil setting up a reconciliation committee with God.
The former minister further said that this new will be futile as the APC is not interested in restructuring of the country.
"The APC setting up a committee on restructuring Nigeria is like Satan setting up a committee on reconciliation with God. They do NOT want it," Fani-Kayode said.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that the former minister alongside a former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bode George will be contesting for the post of party's highest leadership position.
It was gathered that if plans by the party to zone its presidential ticket to the North works, the PDP's national chairman's seat will go to the South-West.
