- While Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), continues with his agitation, his wife, Uchechi is engaging in alleged ritual
- The video showed Uchechi Kanu unlocking the padlock and declaring the Igbos free of suffering
Uchechi, wife of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, has been seen in a trending video performing a ritual reportedly to quicken the realization of the Biafran republic.
Kanu was released from prison after many months following what has been described as alleged treason.
Uchechi, with other members of the organisation, had a chain and a Bible on a table covered with the Biafran flag.
The chain had a padlock and according to reports, this signifies the suffering the Igbo people have had to bear for many years in Nigeria.
The video showed prayers being offered after which Uchechi opened the padlock declaring freedom for the Igbo people.
Uchechi recalled how Elijah in the Bible called on God and was answered by fire.
“That same God will answer us and make a way.
“Joshua said let the sun stand still and it did, Moses also parted the red sea with his staff.
“In like manner my husband, Nnamdi Kanu, and i stand on the rock that God has used to say nogate of hell shall prevail and I say every chain that has held Biafra in the spirit is broken.

“In the spirit, chains and keys means you cannot progress, you are bound and because God has revealed this the battle has been conquered.
“In this moment, I speak with authority bestowed upon me, every power, chained around Biafra is released.
“This morning we open our freedom and walk towards liberation and i declare we have taken our land of promise,” Uchechi prayed.

NAIJ.com however reported earlier that the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) advised the federal government to convene a sovereign national conference in Nigeria.
The Ralph Uwazuruike faction of the group said a new conference would allow all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria to determine their future.
The national director of information for MASSOB Sunny Okoroafor while speaking in Aba during the announcement of the group's anniversary in September said a national conference will help solve the growing agitations by various ethnic groups in Nigeria.
