- Sheriff said the former ministers ran the country aground

The factional chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Ali Modu-Sheriff has urged former Nigerian ministers to reveal the source of their wealth to Nigerians.
Sheriff while reacting to a meeting by the former ministers in Abuja on Tuesday, July 4, said they (the former ministers) ran the country aground.
The PDP's national chairman said the former ministers who were given the opportunity to drive the country increased its woes all through their tenures.
Sheriff also said the PDP's constitution did not recognize the meeting by the former ministers' forum.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) said there are enough proofs to specify that Nigeria suffered immensely under the 16 years leadership of the PDP.
The party said that the PDP administration was disastrous.
Also, the former secretary of the Imo state government Chris Okewulonu said he wondered why Sheriff is still the PDP's national chairman.
