N-Power disqualifies applicants over BVN irregularities

- The N-Power scheme is to send a message to applicants whose BVN records match their applications

Some applicants fault the scheme for disqualifying candidates

Some applicants who applied for the N-Power programmme have expressed outrage after the scheme released a message stating that applicants whose BVN records do not match their applications will be disqualified.

The scheme in a message on Facebook on Tuesday, July 4, stated that it will send messages to applicants whose BVN records match their applications.

It also stated that applicants whose BVN records do not match their applications will also get a message but added that applicants in that category have been disqualified.

Meanwhile some candidates have expressed displeasure over the issue as seen from comments below:

The N-Power programmme, is an innovative launched by the federal government to enhance public services that are short of man-power in the area of basic education and primary healthcare.

The federal government plans to pay N30, 000 monthly stipends to 200,000 graduates engaged under the N-Power job creation program before the end of this month.

The government said through N-Power, young Nigerians will be empowered with the necessary tools to go on and create, develop, build, fix and work on exceptional ideas, projects and enterprises that will positively change the Nigerian economy.
