Buhari's doctors have ruled out his ability to function - Fani-Kayode claims

- The health status of President Muhammadu Buhari has been shrouded in so much controversy

- The president is on a second medical vacation in London for an illness which he and his aides have refused to disclose to Nigerians

- Femi Fani-Kayode claims that Buhari's doctors say he can no longer function which is why he has not returned to the country

A former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, as a liar.

Fani-Kayode was reacting to an update by Oyegun on the health status of President Muhammadu Buhari.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that the APC national chairman while speaking to newsmen on Friday, June 30, said the president was recovering from his illness in a very robust manner contrary to allegations that he is on life support.

In reaction, Fani-Kayode urged Oyegun to stop lying.

According to him, attempts to bring the president back failed as his doctors ruled out his ability to function.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode wrote: “Attempt to bring Buhari to Nigeria from London has flopped again as his doctors rule out his ability to function.

“We are glad to inform you that Buhari is recovering in a very robust manner" - John Odigie-Oyegun. Liar, liar pants on fire! STOP LYING!”

President Buhari had on May 7, embarked on his second medical trip to London for treatment of an illness that both he and his handlers have refused to disclose to Nigerians.

Following his absence, Governor Ayodele Fayose claimed that Buhari has been on life-support since June 6, at a West-End, London Hospital.

The governor in a statement by Lere Olayinka, his the special assistant, claimed that facts available to him shows that the president who not only has voice impairment, could not have spoken in Hausa to Nigerians on Ramadan day as claimed by the presidency.
