Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday, June 23, 2017 attended the graduation ceremony of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Jaji.
Osinbajo was accompanied to the graduation ceremony for senior course 39 of the Command and Staff College by the governor of Kaduna state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.
The acting president, according to his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, presented certificates to 187 officers from Nigeria and 10 other countries.
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the Nigerian Army on Saturday, June 3 graduated a total of 200 officers who participated in its 2017 Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC).
They were enlisted after a colourful ceremony that included a drill and following their successful completion of a professional training at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, in Kaduna, Kaduna state.

The report said that 82 of the newly enlisted are medical doctors with eight as consultants in various fields of medicine while 26 are lawyers.
