Quit Notice: Osinbajo to meet with 36 state governors - Presidency

- Today's meeting will be the last of series of meetings the Acting President has been holding with various stakeholders to address the recent tension arising from the quit notice issued to Igbos

- Osinbajo met with northern leaders at the State House on Tuesday, June 20

- The Acting President had also previously met with Igbo leaders

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is scheduled to meet with governors from all states of the federation today, Wednesday, June 21.

The meeting will mark the conclusion of the series of meetings he has been having with various stakeholders concerning the recent ethnic agitations within the country.

The announcement was made on the Twitter handle of the presidency on Tuesday June 20.

The presidency tweeted:

Legit.ng previously reported that Osinbajo held a closed door meeting with traditional rulers from the northern part of the country on Tuesday, June 20.

The meeting took place at the State House, according to tweets from the presidency.

The Acting President has been holding series of meetings with leaders of thought from both the northern and eastern parts of the country following the tension generated by a quit notice issued to Igbos living in the north.
