After decamping to UPP, Osita Chidoka sets up 21 campaign offices in Anambra

- The former minister of aviation Osita Chidoka has set up his campaign offices in 21 local government areas in Anambra state

- The new offices, the minister said, is in furtherance to the forthcoming November 18, election in Anambra state

- The Osita Chidoka Campaign Organization also appointed Viola Okolie as its director of media

The former minister of aviation Osita Chidoka on Tuesday, June 13, set up a his campaign offices in 21 local government areas in Anambra state.

The offices led by the Osita Chidoka Campaign Organization is in furtherance to the preparations for the Anambra elections slated for Saturday, November 18, a statement by the media assistant to the former minister Ikechukwu Okafor said.

Legit.ng gathered that the Osita Chidoka Campaign Organization also appointed Viola Okolie as its director of media.

Legit.ng recalls that the former minister had earlier named a legal practitioner Bright Nebedum as the director general of his campaign organization.

This appointments comes after Chidoka announced that he had only 48 hours left to leave his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party.

The former minister dumped PDP for United Progressives Party (UPP).

Chidoka will be contesting alongside the incumbent governor Willie Obiano at the November 18, gubernatorial election in the state.

The former minister further said his decamping to UPP will enable him to realise his governorship aspiration in Anambra state.

He also said the move will help restore the lost political and economic glory of the state and the people of Anambra.

Legit.ng also gathered that the former minister would register for his new party in his hometown in Obosi, Idemili North local government area of Anambra state.
