TECNO Foundation GIVES out gifts & scholarship to schools to commemorate Children’s Day 2017

Children’s day is a day set aside by the United Nations to advocate for better future and the right of children all over the world. In Nigeria the Day is celebrated on the 27th of every May.

Africa leading mobile phones makers; TECNO Mobile Nigeria as part of her corporate social responsibilities on Children’s Day announced on her social media networks the needs for parents to celebrate their kids by writing an interesting about them. The online activity was tagged #IamThefuture. This is believed to make the children happy and also for parents to see their children as the future of Nigeria.

Also as part of the children’s day celebration, TECNO Mobile visited schools across Nigeria to donate educational materials, Tablets and phones. In Asaba, the brand gave out Droidpad 7C tablets, TECNO W3 and TECNO Y2 devices to winners of a debate organized in 15 secondary schools and primary schools in the regions.

While in Lagos, they gave out over 10,000 notes and pens to pupils of primary to mark this year Children’s Day celebration.

The climax of the brand children’s Day CSR was the presentation of a hundred thousand naira (N100, 000) scholarship each to 3 best pupils who emerged victorious in an exam conducted in three primary schools in Lagos
