G7 Meeting: Nigerians react to Osibanjo's trip to Italy

Nigeria's Acting President Yemi Osinbajo left Nigeria for Italy on Saturday, May 27.

Legit.ng gathered that Osinbajo attended the G7 Summit which held in Sicily, Italy.

The acting president also met with leaders leaders other countries including Donald Trump of the United States of America, Angela Merkel of Germany among many other leaders.

Following Osinbajo's trip to Italy, Nigerians have taken to social-media in reaction to the trip.

The reactions show that many Nigerians have started nursing the feeling that Osinbajo is the right candidate for presidency.

On his return from Italy, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo said he was honoured to have represented Nigeria at the G7 summit.

The Acting president also said the African continent is confident of its future.

Osinbajo said in his tweet: "Honored to represent Nigeria today at G7 summit Africa outreach in Taormina, Italy.

Our continent is confident of its future. Now back home."

The G7 summit is a meeting of some leader of seven countries - Japan, United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, France and Germany.
