This is the second time the governors will be meeting with the party’s NWC this year. The last meeting took place in April.
The governors had promised to hold regular consultative meeting with the leadership and help it source for funds to finance its activities.
The ruling party has been facing acute shortage of funds, making it impossible for members to hold meetings and the mid-term convention.
Meanwhile, the party was said to have installed a software that will automatically deduct N100 from the phone of members monthly as membership due.
In another development, the Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has accused northern governors of abandoning President Muhammadu Buhari in his moment of trial.
They also accused the governors of pursuing their political ambitions against the interest of the president.
According to them, instead of informing their citizens about the true situation surrounding the president, the governors have engaged themselves in schemes and underhand deals meant to favour them to emerge as vice president in the event that Buhari does not complete his tenure.
