The senator representing Kogi West in the Senate, Dino Melaye has picked hole in President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption war, saying the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) is not fighting corruption but punishing it.
In his recent tweet on his twitter handle, Senator Melaye said EFCC is punishing corruption without fighting it.
He said nepotism is the greatest form of corruption, adding that “when you give carpentry job to tailors. No result will be achieved.”
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Umar Ghali Na’Abba, in his opening remarks said the book was timely as it would help in reorientation of the youths and leaders of the country on the dangers of corruption.
“Corruption is not only about financial misappropriation, it is defined by social defiance and failure of leadership. Nepotism is also a corruption,” he said.

The book, titled: ‘Antidotes for Corruption’ is divided into 14 chapters with 600 pages, is currently being presented at the Umaru Ya’Adua Centre, Abuja.
