Buhari's action is a slap on Osinbajo's face - Reno Omokri

- Reno Omokri has said that President Buhari does not hold his vice in high position

- Omokri says Professor Yemi Osinbanjo was debased to the position of national coordinate

- The cleric says Osinbajo's hands have been tied and he cannot speak for fear the cabal

Pastor Reno Omokri has warned Vice President Osinbajo not to shut his eyes to the signs around him.

The former aid to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, made his call in the wake of the dust stirred by President Buhari's letter to the Senate, regarding his medical leave.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari said that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will “coordinate” the nation’s affairs while he is abroad for medical treatment.

A letter sent by the president to the Senate, notifying lawmakers of his trip, raised questions on Tuesday May 9 about Prof Osinbajo’s powers after Buhari failed to address him as “acting president”.

Reacting to the developing issue, Omokri took to social media, lamenting that Buhari has dealt unfairly with Osinbajo.

He said: During his time in office, President Goodluck Jonathan had a Coordinating Minister for the Economy.

That is the level to which President Muhammadu Buhari has reduced ViProfessor Yemi OsinbajoYemi Osinbajo to today.

Alas! And to those who are saying that the nomenclature does not matter, go home and call your father 'my mother's husband' and after he has slapped you back into reality come back here and realize that if it is not panadol it is not the same thing as panadol.

VP Osinbajo did a very good job the last time he was acting President and as such no one who loves Nigeria should hesitate to accord him the respect he has earned even though by reason of his peculiar situation he cannot complain about this shabby treatment meted out on him for fear of playing into the hands of the 'Cabal'.
