Nigeria's immediate former Vice president Namadi Sambo on Wednesday, May 10, paid a visit to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
NAIJ.com gathered the duo held held private discussions, though Sambo said the visit was a usual familiarisation.
Speaking to State House Correspondents after the visit, Sambo said: “I have come to visit Mr Vice President and the Acting President as a usual familiarisation visit.
“As you know, former presidents visit Mr President and former vice presidents visit incumbent vice president".
“I am happy to see all of you our old colleagues here and I want to thank you very much for this very good reception.’’
When asked what he discussed with the acting president Sambo declined, saying it was private, Vanguard reports.
Earlier, NAIJ.com reported that Acting President Osinbajo held a closed door meeting with Nigeria's former vice president at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The former vice president arrived the Villa at exactly 4pm and Osinbajo ushered him into his office where both men held discussions.
This would be the second time Sambo would be visiting the Presidential Villa.
