Some soldiers who were killed in combat fighting Boko Haram terrorists were given befitting burials as their colleagues paid their last respects to them.
In an exclusive report to NAIJ.com from a soldier in the north east, he said the soldiers were buried in Maimalari barracks on Wednesday, May 3.
Among those buried was one Captain Yunusu of 120 Task Force.
Another burial of soldiers who died while fighting the dreaded terrorist group were buried in Bauchi on Friday, May 3 among them was Corporal Eric Dung popularly known as Echo Delta.
The burials of the soldiers came a few days before Boko Haram released 82 abducted Chibok girls in exchange for some terrorists.
The exchange of the girls fr the terrorists however raised criticism in some quarters as the Peoples Democratic Party said the release of the terrorists will cause more terror.
