Former President Olusegun Obasanjo represents different things to different people.
While some politicians see him as the father or modern Nigeria, some Nigerians see him as a funny man, others see him as a retired but not tired ex-soldier.
Now 80, Obasanjo seem to be taking the back seat in politics and just enjoying his old age.
Formerly viewed as a strict man who has no time for frivolities, Obasanjo is now letting his hair down and having the time of his life.
It is now a common sight to see young Nigerians pose for photographs with the former president at social functions, public lectures and even on the plane.
In each photos or videos of Obasanjo with young people that has hit the internet, one thing was sure, he was totally enjoying himself.
Just about a year ago, urban radio station presenter Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru met up with the former president on a flight.
“He was quite nice, I introduced myself and invited him on my show...he smiled and said he would think about it,” she wrote via her Instagram account.
Two months back, one Oluwakayode Olumide Ogundamisi posted a video on Facebook where the ex-president was with a lady identified simply as Bridget and they were chatting like buddies.
In the video, Obasanjo joked about being a broke man. He said: ''I'm an old man, most old people are broke.”

Recently, music promoter, Alex Ozone caught up with the ex-president on an Ethopian Airline flight.
Ozone share photos and a video of Obasanjo obviously having fun. In the video, 'Baba' as Obasanjo is fondly called by his admirers, expressed interest in the Nigerian music interest.
''Well, you showed me the artiste, you showed me the manager, you showed me the producer, ermmm...what is left? I want to be part of you,'' Obasanjo said in the video smiling.
In the pictures shared by the music promoter, Obasanjo was pictured trying to emulate the signature hand signs that entertainers usually do before posing for a photograph.
Safe to say Baba is enjoying himself!!!
