When NAIJ.com visited the venue, one of the business men named Yusuf lamented the situation.
Speaking to NAIJ.com, he said: "We were given two month notice to leave this place because the owner wants to use his place. its not owned by government and nine months ago when we started hearing rumors that this place is going to be demolished we set up a committee to go and plead with government to help us find a place where we can do our business, but nothing has been done.
Going further, he noted that: The people doing business here are youth,. You cannot see a man who is more than 50 years doing business in royal but now we are scattered, there is no place that can contain the whole of us as we use to be in the royal market.
"Even our customers now will find it hard to do business with us because there is no more Royal," he said.
