Senate on Wednesday, April 26 held a valedictory session for the lawmaker representing Osun west senatorial district, Isiaka Adeleke, who died on Sunday April 23.

The senators on Tuesday April 25, observed a minute silence to honor their late colleague who passed on after he was said to have used excessive painkillers.

They had a short plenaries on Tuesday to mourn the passing of Isiaka Adeleke, first elected governor of Osun state and, until his death, Osun west senator

The senate president, Bukola Saraki said the opening prayer at 10:39am, the session entered closed doors at 10:41am.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has approved the adoption of Mondays and Wednesdays every week, as Made-in-Nigeria Dress Days across the country.

The approval was contained in a letter from the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, dated April 4, 2017, and addressed to the Executive Secretary of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma.
