Nigeria's Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has been conferred with the traditional title of Dan-Iya of Kaura Namoda.

According to the Lawmaker's tweet on Saturday, April 22, the title was conferred on him by the Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad Asha, MFR.

Senate President Bukola Saraki was prayed for before being conferred the title "Dan-Iya of Kaura Namoda"

In an earlier post by Legit.ng, Senate President Bukola Saraki was given the chieftaincy title of Baba Adini of Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria (AISN).

Saraki was honoured with the title of Baba Adini of Ansarul Islam Society, barely two days after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo became the Jagaban of Adamawa state.

Legit.ng gathered that the vice president was in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, where he commissioned a number of Adamawa state govt projects on Thursday, April 13.

He was received at the Lamido Adamawa’s palace.

It was at the Lamido palace that the VP was conferred the VP with the honorary title - “Jagaban Adamawa” meaning front-runner of Adamawa.
