- Femi Fani-Kayode condemned the arrest of Deji Adeyanju
- He insisted it was not a crime to support Nnamdi Kanu
Femi Fani-Kayode has lashed out at President Muhammadu Buhari for the arrest of Adeyanjo Deji, the former media director of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Adeyanju was arrested by security operatives on Friday, April 21 for leading a rally to protest the secret trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra.
In reaction, Fani-Kayode took to his twitter page to condemn the arrest and urged the president to release Adeyanju.
He said it was not a crime to support Kanu and that the detention was wrong.
Some of the people who commented under his tweet also condemned the arrest although others disagreed with him.
