- Former PDP BoT chairman Anenih's daughter has been alleged as probable owner of the aprtment where cash was found in Lagos

- Former PDP chairman Mua'azu and ex-NNPC MD Nnamdi-Ogbue had initially been tipped as the owners of the apartment

- The EFCC says it is not yet sure of the owner but would reveal the information when it concludes its investigations

Emerging reports say that the apartment where Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) discovered $43 million, N23 million and £27,800 in Ikoyi area of Lagos state on Wednesday, April 12 allegedly belongs to the daughter of a PDP chieftain.

According to Sahara Reporters, it has now confirmed that the said apartment belongs to an unnamed daughter of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees chairman Tony Anenih.

In its clarification, the online news platform, which had earlier reported that it was owned by former PDP chairman Adamu Mua'azu, said the former Bauchi state governor owned the house, but the apartment belonged to Anenih's daughter.

Legit.ng recalls that Sahara Reporters had also reported that the money allegedly belonged to former Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) managing director Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue.

On its part, the EFCC says it cannot confirm who owns the money yet until it is through with its investigations.
