- Onochie says the governor of Kaduna state El-Rufai has done right with his action
- She indirectly challenged Dogara to do like El-Rufai has done and publish details of National Assembly's financials
President Muhammadu Buhari's aide Lauretta Onochie has mocked Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara over his challenge to Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai about spending of state funds.
Onochie in a tweet, on Tuesday, April 11, hailed El-Rufai for publishing the spending of his government.
She then mocked Dogara with a popular English proverb, indirectly challenging him also to publish the details of the National Assembly spending.
NAIJ.com recalls that Governor El-Rufai fired back at the National Assembly (NASS) on Monday, April 10 over calls for the extension of budget transparency to other arms of government.
In a series of tweets, the Kaduna state government challenged Honorable Yakubu Dogara and the leadership of NASS to show Nigerians their budget after El-Rufai did by presenting specifics of the state's security budget.
