He disclosed also that the Mock Examination is now on hold indefinitely while a new date will be communicated to candidates.

NAIJ.com gathered that candidates who registered for the 2017 computer-based UTME were supposed to take their mock tests today, April 8.

Prof Is-haq Oloyede had made the announcement about the exams at a meeting with ‘internal stakeholders’ in Abuja on Thursday, April 6 but today things changed.

Oloyede said the mock exams which had been expected to take place nationwide were meant to prepare candidates for the real exams.

Only candidates that paid for the mock test were eligible to sit, he said.
