At least one person was killed Nigerian-Cameroon border and many others injured after a bomb attack by Boko Haram on Saturday, April 8 morning.
According to Simonateba.com, the attack took place in Kolofata, on Cameroon’s far north region, close to the Nigerian border.
The online platform was quoting L’Oeil du Sahel newspaper which reported that it was not clear whether the blast was carried out by a lone bomber or many.
“For now, one dead and many people injured,” L’Oeil du Sahel said.
The attack occured just as explosions rocked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital in the early hours of Saturday, April 8.
The attack was said to have occurred around past 5am as Muslims observed their early morning prayers. Premium Times reports that at least two people were killed in the attack on Saturday.
It quoted officials as saying that their bodies have been recovered outside a mosque in Jiddari Polo area in Maiduguri after two female suicide bombers attacked worshippers.
