- President Buhari has already mentioned to Nigerians that he would return to the UK
President Muhammadu Buhari has started making plans to return to the United Kingdom for medical treatment as promised.
The president had revealed when he returned from his 51-day medical leave that he would be returning to the UK for further tests and treatment.
There was however a report a week ago that the president had cancelled his plans to travel to the UK but that medical personnel would be flown in from the UK.
This, it was reported, would prevent rumours that circulated during the president’s extended leave.
This report was however refuted by the president’s media aide, Garba Shehu who insisted that the president had not cancelled his plans.
According to Sahara Reporters, the president’s six-man advanced tams have started processing their tickets ahead of Buhari’s trip.
NAIJ.com reported about the happiness in President Buhari's hometown when he returned from the UK in March.
