Lai Mohammed allegedly spotted wearing a Rolex watch worth N8.2m (photos)?
Lai Mohammed, the Nigerian minister of information was supposedly spotted wearing a golden wristwatch which has a striking semblance with a Rolex, Legit.ng has learnt. The saying ‘one does not grow out of style when there is money’ is proved to be true with this.
Being wealthy puts one in the position to enjoy the luxuries of life. A price estimate of vintage Rolex watches range between $650 and $75000, which is N253,000 and N29,250,000. Now that is some whooping amount we have there.
This is not surprising as some positions make it possible for one to have expensive gadgets like this.

Lai Mohammed was spotted rocking this wristwatch when he was with Mallam Abba Kyari, the chief of staff to the president and Prof Attahiru Jega at the Kaduna international airport.
From the investigation done, it appears the model of the Rolex wristwatch is either ‘Datejust’ or ‘President’. Of course, this is not the first time the minister of information would be wearing this wristwatch. Since seeing is believing, the pictures compiled by Legit.ng would tell more about the brand.

Once again, Lai Mohammed has proved to Nigerians that he is too much sauce to go out of fashion. This is a proof that older folks are pretty much ‘in town’ and are not ready to back down for the upcoming generation.
The model of the watch seen on the wrist of the Nigerian minister of information is a close match to Rolex President. And the estimated price which it is being sold for is N8.2m.
On the other hand, the price of the Rolex President replica watch starts from N45 000.
