Woman Stabs Man To Death In Kano

Police in Kano have arrested a woman on Saturday night for allegedly causing a man’s death by stabbing him with a knife at popular Queen’s Cinema area in the metropolis.

The incident occurred when the victim who, was identified as Mohammed Idris of Kofar Mata quarters, pleaded with the suspect, Gambo Sama’ila, to pay for the food she was served at a nearby restaurant.

Daily Trust gathered that Gambo had allegedly refused to settle the bill for her meal when Idris tried to persuade her to pay.

“She whipped out a knife from under her dress and stabbed him, leading to his instant death,” said police.

Confirming her arrest, Kano Police Command Public Relations Officer ASP Musa Magaji Majiya, said the she had been taken into custody and that the knife she allegedly used to commit the crime had been recovered.
