- Governor Fayose has declared that his government as strong and not in need of Police or Secret Security Service (SSS) 's protection

- Fayose accused the APC government of being in control of the security forces in Nigeria

Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose has accused the Federal government and All Progressive Congress (APC) of playing partisan with the police and the Department of State Services.

Fayose made this statement during International Women’s Day celebration held at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, Daily post reports.

Fayose claimed that he does not need the security agents protecting him in the state, and that the people of Ekiti state are enough to protect him.

Fayose said: “Anybody moving against my government will be removed; anybody that wants to topple me will not finish their government.

“Tell them, I don’t need their policemen, I don’t need their SSS. Let them come and remove their policemen and SSS. I don’t want APC police, I don’t want APC SSS, these people are my police."

Meanwhile, Governor Fayose has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate Obasanjo’s assets. Fayose alleged that Obasanjo looted Nigerian treasury while in government

The governor said Obasanjo lacks the moral standing to dish out advice on corruption because he is corrupt.
