Reports just reaching Naij.com indicates that officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have barricaded the entrance to the venue for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting.
The PDP stakeholders meeting, which is slated for 2:00 pm today, February 20 is to be held at International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The spokesman for the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee of the party, Prince Dayo Adeyeye in a series of tweets on Monday, February 20, accused the party's embattled national chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of conniving in order to kill the PDP.
According to the statement, the new venue for the meeting now is the Ekiti State Governor's Lodge, on T. Y. Danjuma Street, Asokoro, Abuja, while the time remains the same.

It would be recalled that the Court of Appeal had declared Ali Modu Sheriff as the national chairman of the PDP.
The court sitting in sitting in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, on Friday, February 17 declared the decision taking at the May 21 Port-Harcourt convention of the party as null and void.
The three judges presiding over the case in a unanimous decision agreed that Modu Sheriff is the chairman of the PDP.
