Their dating story began in December, 2009 and their married life started this January, 2017. Read their journey below alongside their wedding photos taken by photographer Christian Livingstone.
Prisca narrated: "We met in February, 2009 at Rivers State University of Science and Technology. I was on my registration/entrance clearance and Oliver was on his final clearance."
"When he saw me on that faithful day he immediately walked up to me but I was a bit cold of course I had to do "shakara". I gave him a wrong name and tried to dismiss him but he insisted and requested for my number and we spoke a few times on the phone."
"Fast forward to October 2009, we met again in the same spot that we did the first time and while shaking hands we couldn't stop staring at each other and smiling; right there I knew he was the one. By December, 2009, we started dating and it's been bliss since then."
"He proposed to me on my birthday (May 24) in 2015. At that time, I was based in Lagos and he was in port Harcourt.
He had it all planned out with my sister and I had zero idea about it. He called me the day before and said he was in Lagos and I laughed in disbelief but then an hour later he surfaced at my doorstep."
"He asked me my plans for my birthday, which I told him and he advised me to go with my friends to Sheraton hotel in Ikeja (unknown to me, he had made reservations already) and I agreed."
"While we were having fun in Sheraton, he suddenly called for everyone's attention and stood up to make a toast. That was when I realized what was about to happen: he knelt down and asked me to marry him and of course I said YES to my one true love."
Though Prisca and Oliver were in long distance relationship at one point, they found a way to make it work because of love. Now that their life as man and wife has begun, they hope to "build a beautiful life together as a family and make heaven together."
She gushed over he new husband: "I love his kind hearted nature, his smartness and above all the love I see in his eyes when he looks at me." Oliver also made sure to voice out his favourtie qualities in his sweetheart: "I love her calmness and her understanding."
Prisca concluded her story with the unforgettable marital advice: "Know what you want and know you deserve better. Don't be in a relationship because you are lonely or because of societal pressure so when the right one comes along you will be available."
