Vice President Yemi Osinbajo arrives Delta (Photos)

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has arrived Delta state for a talk on the way forward in the quest for permanent peace in the Niger Delta.

He was received by Delta state Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, members of the Delta state executive council and traditional rulers from Delta state.

He was received at the Osubi airport near Warri, the business city of the state.

The visit is to engage with oil communities in the Delta state and other Niger Delta states in its bid to end renewed militancy in the region, which has led to dwindling oil output and national revenue.

Having been received by the state governor and others at the airport, he was flown to Gbaramatu kingdom for a talk with the leaders of the oil bearing coastal communities.
