For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise (Galatians 3:27-29).

Discrimination is a treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favour of or against a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing is perceived to belong to rather than on individual merit.

Discrimination is increasingly becoming a big problem even in the body of Christ. As an employer, you favour your own ethnic group to other people. Politicians will divide the electorate along the lines of religion and ethnicity.

Discrimination is not of the Lord. You are not to discriminate people of other religion as well.

We are one body in Christ. Every human being, every race, every gender is created by the same God and because you are in a place of position doesn’t give you the authority to discriminate.

Imagine if Jesus were to discriminate, would you have been saved. The Word of God says ‘Whosoever believes in Jesus’ (John 3:16). The word ‘Whosoever’ is an open invitation, anyone, anybody is free to partake of the goodness of God. So, should you as well not discriminate against anyone based on their gender, race, colour, position, class?

Even the government is a culprit in this, favouring one region against the other. You are reading this because you have to say no to discrimination.

Though we are many, diverse, we are one body. We are to show no partiality (Romans 2:11).

Because someone is of the other faith apart from yours, doesn’t mean you should discriminate him/her on that. And because someone is working for you doesn’t mean you should discriminate against such a person.

Show love to everybody. We all have the same red blood flowing in our system. The western world shouldn’t discriminate against the under developed countries. It is high time everybody said no to discrimination. We are all equal before God.
