Security officers have arrested some suspected hoodlums at Igbokoda, Ilaje local government, for allegedly snatching ballot boxes in the on-going Ondo governorship election.
According to a report on Premium Times, the suspects were chased from interior communities to the Igbokoda jetty where they were arrested.

They were immediately taken to a police station where the Divisional Police Officer declined to speak to journalists.
However, the spokesperson of the police in the state said he has not been briefed on the arrest, promising to get back to journalists on the matter.

The suspects were between the ages of 25 and 30.
Although the election in Ondo state has been peaceful, recall that one person has been reported dead.
It was gathered that a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) was killed by unknown gunmen in Owo, Ondo state.
The chieftain, Afolabi Olaposi was shot dead on his way home after attending a meeting of the party in preparation for the governorship election on Thursday night, November 24, according to a statement released the APC.
