President Buhari Muhammadu has participated at the opening ceremony and working session of the 4th Africa-Arab Summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday, November 23.
The president who arrived the capital of of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo, was given a warm and hearty welcome by hosts.
President Buhari will spend two days abroad to attend the 4th Africa-Arab Summit that will focus on promotion of trade and strengthening of economic ties to implement priority projects in trade, investment, transportation, communication and energy in Africa.
According to Femi Adesina, the senior special adviser to the president on media and publicity, the summit will asess the progress achieved in the implementation of the action plan adopted in the 3rd summit, held in Kuwait in 2013 and will endorse the Malabo Declaration and Action Working Plan for 2017-2019.
Besides, President Buhari will hold discussions with Arab leaders, aimed at reviewing agreements to strengthen partnerships that bolster agriculture and infrastructure development in Nigeria through long term concessionary loans and technological skills transfer.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to come back home on Thursday, November 24.
