Louis Van Gaal Invites Arjen Robben To Join Manchester United

After another match of brilliant performance demonstrated by Arjen Robben from Netherlands in the 3-0 victory over Brazil, the Holland coach Louis Van Gaal suggested him to join Manchester United.

Robben revealed this in a post-match interview, Daily Mail reports. The 62-year-old coach, who is to take over the MU after the World Cup end in which his team won its last tournament game for the 3rd place, wants the Bayern Munich forward in the club. Confirming his interest, Van Gaal said Robben "is always welcome" adding that "he knows this himself".

However Robben told Dutch TV station NOS he had turned down the offer:

"After the match he asked me to come to Manchester. I'm very happy with where I am now. I told [Van Gaal] that. Van Gaal is the best coach I've had. We've got a very special relationship, but I will not make a transfer. I'm at the right place at Bayern so that has nothing to do with Van Gaal or United."

Meanwhile the 2014 World Cup is gradually coming to its end. The final clash for the Mundial championships is to be played today, July 13, between Argentina and Germany.
