Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Gets New Chieftaincy Title

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been given a new chieftaincy title in Lagos, Legit.ng can authoritatively report.

The former Lagos state governor was announced as the Baba Oba of Ikorodu land by the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorushen V, during a press briefing at his magnificent palace on Monday.

The Ikorodu monarch, who only stepped out of Ipebi (a traditional school where he is expected to learn the ethics of ruling, among other basics) on Sunday, noted that the decision to make Asiwaju the Baba Oba was not difficult, owing to his contribution to the development of the division.

"And if we have made such a significant person the Baba Oba of Ikorodu, you can be rest assured that we are in safe hands in this division.

"He has been one of our backbones in this division and surely deserves the accolades he is getting. Therefore, our decision to name him the Baba Oba of Ikorodu land was taken in the best interest of the people of the division."
