What Ben Bruce Plans To Do With His Wardrobe Allowance

The senator Ben Bruce, who has been interacting with Nigerians on social resources, promised his wardrobe allowance to pay workers who have not been paid their salaries.

He also said he will ask for support from his friend and from every capable Nigeria to help out in this course.

Bruce took to his twitter account to share his opinion.

Nigerians in respond hail such a good move:

“Good move sir, but please, Osun is not only the state suffering this plight.. Tell your colleagues to also channel their resources to states like Akwa ibom, Imo, Rivers, Kano, Oyo etc.”

“I think this a good development, even if it's a show off, if other senators can show off like this a lot of workers will be paid their salaries pretty soon.”

On May 11, 2015, the senator, who is representing the Bayelsa East Senatorial District, spoke out against the huge allowances received by Nigeria’s legislators.

It would be also recalled that Nigerian lawmakers will be receiving a total of N8.64 billion as wardrobe allowance next week.
