Osinbajo Is President When Buhari Absent - APC

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has explained why Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo is being denied access to attend security meetings with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The party took to its official twitter account to discharge claims. The APC also says in the absence of Buhari, Osinbajo is the President.

A number of media sources reported that VP was ‘locked out’ of the meeting on the orders of the president.

President Buhari has already several times met with the security chiefs over Boko Haram threat.

One of the security sources claimed that Osinbajo is not qualified for such meetings: “I can tell you that they respect Prof Osinbajo as VP, but they cannot trust him with information yet.”
