Guru Maharaj Ji Tasks President-Elect Muhammadu Buhari

Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, the founder and spiritual leader of One Love Family, addressed Muhammadu Buhari, the president-elect.

Recall that before the presidential election he had predicted that there was "no vacancy for Buhari at Aso Rock" for the All Progressives Congress candidate.

However, the prophecy did no come true as Buhari emerged winner of the March 28 polls.

Days after the results announcement, Maharaj Ji delivered a message to the president-elect while speaking during the 28th Anniversary of the establishment of his Maharaj Ji Village in Ibadan, Oyo state, on April 18, Saturday.

He said the advice became necessary in order to increase the productivity of the workers and move the country forward, PM News reports.

“The pensioners too should be paid their entitlements when due because they served the country before their retirement.

“Some pensioners have died of hunger because their entitlements are not paid in time.

“If the incoming administration can tackle this, it would make Buhari and governors-elect to make history where others Nigerian leaders had failed.

“Project allocation and execution should be equally distributed so that every citizen could benefit from the dividends of democracy.

“No section of the country should be singled out for development at the detriment of the others.

“Employment and appointment opportunities must be on merit and be equitably distributed.”

The religious leader also noted that he would gladly provide solution to Nigeria's spiritual problems if invited to do so.

Guru Maharaj Ji is highly respected by Nigerians over his contribution to the development of the country and over his predictions on important events in the country.

Some of his statements, however, generated controversies. Earlier this year he spoke against women in politics saying that "women must not lead". Interestingly, this comes amid the ongoing competition for Taraba state governorship seat, with female leading candidate (Aisha Alhassan of the APC).
