Buhari And Wife Aisha Change Twitter Handle

Nigeria’s president-elect Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and First lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari have changed their Twitter accounts. 

President-elect Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has changed his Twitter account from @ThisIsBuhari to @MBuhari while his wife, Mrs Aisha Buhari will now be tweeting from @ABuhari.

The accounts @ThisIsBuhari and @IAmAishaBuhari will no longer be connected to either party.

For the latest news and updates on both as they transition into being the First Couple, the @MBuhari and @ABuhari accounts will be a key channel of communication as the president-elect works to fulfill his promises to the nation, a statement issued by State Craft Inc said.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari joined Twitter on December 22, 2014, after winning the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), within six hours of enlisting he had 12,000 followers the president-elect presently has more than 200, 000 followers. His wife, Aisha Buhari, joined in March 2015, and also has more than 32, 000 followers.
