Nigeria Decided: Northern Governors Congratulate Buhari
The Northern States Governors Forum congratulated Muhammadu Buhari on emerging the winner of the presidential election.
According to Premium Times, Mu’azu Aliyu, the forum chairman the Niger state governor, delivered a message through his aide on March 31. He said that the victory of the All Progressives Congress was the victory for the Nigerian democracy.
The politician also praised Goodluck Jonathan for conceding defeat adding that the country would remember him for his political maturity.

"Let me on behalf of my colleagues in the Northern States Governors Forum congratulate the president elect, General Muhammadu Buhari over his success at the president polls. It is indeed triumph for democracy and indeed the decision of Nigerians.
"I also thank the president of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for accepting the outcome of the election. He has indeed shown he is a statesman and posterity will forever remember him for his decision to allow a free and fare election."
Numerous politicians, including President Jonathan, governors Okorocha and Amosun, Atiku Abubakar, among others, have already congratulated Buhari on victory. The APC supporters are taking to the streets of their states to celebrate the win of their candidate.
