President Jonathan Campaigns In Jos

The ongoing nationwide campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made a stop yesterday in Jos, the Plateau State capital as the ruling party continues its tour of the North-Central region of the country.

The Jos rally which was jam-packed with PDP supporters who came from all the nook and crannies of Plateau State was filled with PDP stalwarts in the state and indeed the region.

As usual on the President’s campaign team is the Vice-President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Muazu, Director/General of the Jonathan/Sambo campaign organisation, Alhaji Ahmadu Ali, his deputy, Mr. Peter Obi, among others.

After the rally, President Jonathan proceeded to the palace of the Traditional Ruler of Jos, Gbom Gwong Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba to pay homage to the revered ruler.

Meanwhile, former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has written an open letter where he lambasted the president for his 'weak' economic policies.
