Christiano Ronaldo Split With Russian Girlfriend

Cristiano Ronaldo has dumped his model girlfriend, Irina Shayk after she refused to attend a surprise birthday celebration for his mum's 60th birthday party.

According to the UK Mirror, the 29-year Portuguese footballer, decided to end his romance with the Russian beauty after the incident.

Media reports in Portugal in the past had suggested Irina was not in the good books of Ronaldo's mum Dolores Aveiro and sisters.

Irina, 29, sparked speculation of a crack in their relationship when she unfollowed him on Twitter.

She also did not attend the Fifa Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich on Monday where Ronaldo was named the best player in the world.

During his acceptance speech after winning the award, Ronaldo didn't make any mention of Irina. He thanked his family, teammates and supporters. The ex-couple dated for five years after they met on an Armani photo-shoot.
