PDP Governors Endorse Goodluck Jonathan For 2015

The news that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) endorsed the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan to become their sole candidate for February 14 elections broke a couple of hours ago. However, this decision did not materialise from air.

The event took place yesterday at the Akwa Ibom Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja. The Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, was represented by his deputy amid speculation about the Governor's presidential ambitions.

Following the meeting the forum decided: “The Forum hereby endorses Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for a second term in office and resolved to support his bid for re-election come 2015.”
