The newspaper in a tweet on Wednesday, July 19, also reported that the cabal has now permitted the wife of the president, Aisha, unfettered access to him.

Legit.ng recalls that the online newspaper had reported in June that President Muhammadu Buhari was not allowed to see his wife during her visit to the United Kingdom.

The newspaper stated that the cabal reportedly reduced access to Buhari in an effort to control information leaks to the public.

The news outlet also reported that the president has not spoken with Professor Yemi Osibanjo, who is acting on his behalf since he traveled on another round of medical treatment abroad.

However, Legit.ng has been unable to verify the claims by Sahara Reporters.

The media aides of President Buhari have already been contacted and their reply as well as the official reaction is expected soon.

President Buhari has been in London for over 60 days treating an undisclosed medical condition.
